Charity Poker Solutions and Hot Rods have organized a Thanksgiving non-perishable food drive on behalf of St. Vincent de Paul.
The drive, which will start Monday and run through Nov. 23, will be at Hot Rods in the Game On Sports Bar Complex, 1715 E. Michigan Ave. Daily drop-off times are 6 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.
These articles cover the basics of Texas Hold'Em 101. How to play the game, basic definitions (what the heck is a flop, and why do I care about the river when I'm playing cards), betting, hand rankings, top 10 starting hands, and so on.
After the basics have been mastered, these articles will help tweak your game. Advice on when to bet big and when to fold. There are also odds calculators, odds charts and other statistical stuff to streamline your poker strategury.
